Earthquake Sismic Sensor
What is the TS 12884 Standard?
The seismic detection standard TS 12884, which is required for earthquake sensors used in 1st and 2nd degree earthquake zones within the borders of Turkey, "is determined in April 2002 by Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory, Istanbul Technical University and TSE for Turkish conditions (building quality, geological characteristics of the land, etc.). ) are taken into consideration. Earthquake devices work according to the detection values specified in the TSE standard. No value is given for the intensity of the earthquake. According to TS 12884/April 2002 - Article 1.2.2.1.2, the detection values are given below.
In addition to these, the issues affecting the detection values of earthquake devices are given below. The detection values of earthquake devices are not adjusted according to the demands and wishes of the users. Issues Affecting Perception Values;
* Strength and quality of Buildings/Facilities and Structures,
* The proximity to the epicenter of the earthquake,
* The intensity of the earthquake,
* The duration of the earthquake
* The installation location of the devices is not a COLUMN or BEAM,
* Devices are not installed on the floor closest to the floor,
* Failure to perform annual periodic maintenance of the devices on time.
What does it do?
SiscuT, produced in accordance with TSE TS 12884 standard; Thanks to its two independent normally open (N/O) and normally closed (N/C) contacts, it can send an output to the desired point as soon as it senses the earthquake movement according to the values in the TS 12884 standard. Thanks to the external sensor input; Fire/Smoke sensors and gas alarm devices can be connected. Apart from the earthquake alarm, different sensors can be connected to the device.

Indicator and Alarm Features
Earthquake alarm: Light indicator and sound
Mains operation indicator: Light indicator
Battery operation indicator: Light indicator
Battery Bad or insufficient: Light indicator and audible. The battery test performed automatically by the device is repeated for 1 day. During this period, if the batteries cannot exceed 11,85V, it will give an audible warning once every 5 seconds and the battery led on the light indicator will flash.
S.Valve failure or line break warning: Light indicator and audible. If there is a fault in the solenoid valve coil or there is a disconnection in the connection to the valve, the S.Valve led will blink continuously and give an audible warning once every second.
Battery automatic charging feature.
Alarm reset feature: Manually with the reset button.
Shock, vibration, etc. after closing. Even if the mounting axis is disturbed by the effects, it does not return to the initial position, it maintains the alarm status until it is manually reset.
Truck, Dozer, Train, Plane, Cylinder etc. It is not affected by the operation of vehicles that can vibrate the ground, it works with the mass movement of the ground.
